Louisiana PBS moves to new satellite - Feb 28, 2012

The Louisiana PBS affiliate which was previously available on AMC 21 125W has now moved to a new satellite. You may now receive Louisiana PBS HD along with LPBS 2 and LPBS Create on SES 2, located at 87W.

Louisiana PBS is now available using the following transponder coordinates:

Satellte: SES 2 @ 87 degrees West
Transponder: 11808 Mhz
Polarity: Horizontal
Symbol rate: 11150
Protocol & modulation: DVB-S2 8PSK

Customers with fixed dishes pointing to AMC 21 at 125 degrees West will need to have their dish reaimed to SES 2 at 87 degrees West to regain the Louisiana PBS signal. However, we strongly recommend upgrading to a motorized system in order to keep receiving the other PBS affiliates which remain on AMC 21 at 125 degrees West.
