Frequency change for BVN dutch satellite service - Jan 05, 2015

Please note that the BVN Dutch channel on Eutelsat 113 West A (formerly known as SatMex 6) located at 113 degrees West has changed its transponder parameters effective immediately. Unfortunately, the satellite uplinker transmitting the BVN channel made these changes with no transition period and without prior notice to BVN so viewers will need to adjust the reception parameters of their satellite receiver in order to restore service.

The new tuning coordinates for BVN are as follows:

Satellte: Eutelsat 113 West (formerly known as Satmex 6) @ 113 degrees West
Transponder: 12089 MHz
Polarity: Horizontal
Symbol rate: 11719 Msps
FEC: 3/4
Modulation: DVB-S QPSK

You may attempt to enter the above parameters yourself and scan the new transponder in order to regain service. However, if you are unable to do so, please contact Dr. Sat today in order to schedule a service appointment.

Belangrijke informatie voor BVN-kijkers en VRT-1 radioluisteraars in Noord-, Midden- en Zuid-Amerika.

Sinds 2 januari 2015 zijn de frequentie en symbol rate van BVN (en VRT Radio 1) gewijzigd. De overige parameters, zoals polarisatie, FEC, satelliet etc. zijn niet gewijzigd.

De nieuwe ontvangstgegevens (parameters) zijn:
Frequentie: 12089 MHz (of 12.089 GHz)
Symbol Rate: 11.719 Msps
FEC (is ongewijzigd): 3/4
Polarisatie (is ongewijzigd): Horizontaal
Satelliet (is ongewijzigd): heet nu Eutelsat 113 West A i.p.v. SatMex 6
Positie (is ongewijzgd): 113 graden West
